If you currently utilize GCF’s online banking EXPRESS TRANSFER function to make your loan payments, this service will be temporarily unavailable from April 25, 2014 through June 9, 2014. As an alternative to this temporary inconvenience, you can do one of the following:

  • Contact 1-877-589-6600 ext. 320 or 368 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, to manually complete the transaction.
  • Mail a check to Investors Bank, 101 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, NJ 08830.
  • Sign up for GCF’s online bill payment system and set up a monthly payment to be sent to Investors Bank.

VISA® CHECK CARD/ATM CARD CARDHOLDER AGREEMENT


I/We, the applicant(s) in consideration of GCF Bank (you or your) issuing to me a GCF Bank Visa® Check Card or ATM CARD, hereby agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions.
  1. Accounts and Uses of GCF Bank Visa Check Card (hereafter referred to as CARD). I have the account(s) with you set forth on my application form. I hereby request that you issue to me one or more CARDs to be used in connection with such accounts as described in this Agreement.

    I understand I may use my CARD at a STAR, PLUS, CIRRUS or HONOR System to (1) withdraw cash from my accounts, (2) effect transfers to or from my accounts, or (3) receive information regarding the balance in my accounts.

    I may also use my CARD at ATM (automated teller machines) throughout the United States and in certain foreign countries which bear the STAR, PLUS, CIRRUS or HONOR System name and logo (STAR, PLUS CIRRUS or HONOR System) to (1) make withdrawals from, (2) effect transfers to our from or (3) receive information regarding the balance in my checking or statement savings account(s) that are designated as the primary account of each such type on my application form.

    I further understand that I may use the GCF Bank Visa Check Card at any retail establishment (Merchant) wherever STAR, PLUS, CIRRUS, HONOR or VISA cards are accepted to purchase goods and services and/or obtain cash where permitted by the Merchant (Purchase). If the transaction is processed using the Visa Purchase capability, no Personal Identification Number (PIN) is required to validate the transaction. If I use the CARD to make a Purchase, I shall be requesting you to withdraw funds in the amount of such Purchase (including any cash received from the Merchant) from my primary transaction checking account designated on my application form and directing or ordering you to pay such funds to the Merchant.

    I request that you provide to me such other additional services or access to other ATM systems or networks using the CARD which you may make available and which you advise me are offered in connection with my account(s) set forth on my application form. I also understand that from time to time I may request in writing that you provide access to additional accounts of mine through the CARD you have issued to me. I agree that the uses of the CARD described in this Agreement shall be subject to the rules and regulations of each account which is accessed by such Card.

  2. Use of PIN with the CARD. I understand that a STAR, PLUS, CIRRUS or HONOR ATM is an automated teller. It can and will perform many of the same tasks as a human teller. I acknowledge that the PIN which I use with the CARD is my signature, identifies the bearer of the Card to the STAR, PLUS, CIRRUS or HONOR System or other network ATM and authenticates and validates the directions given just as my actual signature and other proof identify me and authenticate and validate my directions to a human teller. I also understand that a Merchant which accept the CARD for a purchase transaction may have an electronic terminal (Merchant operated or self service) which requires the use of my PIN and when my PIN is used at a Merchant's terminal, it will authenticate and validate the directions given just as my actual signature will authenticate and validate my directions given to you. I acknowledge that my PIN is an identification code that is personal and confidential and that the use of the PIN with the CARD is a security method by which you are helping me to maintain the security of my account(s). Therefore, I AGREE TO TAKE ALL REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS THAT NO ONE ELSE LEARNS MY PIN.

  3. Liability for Unauthorized Transactions. I AGREE TO CONTACT YOU AT ONCE if I believe the CARD(s) issued to me or my PIN has been lost or stolen or money is missing from my account(s). I also agree that if my money statement shows transactions which I did not make, and I do not contact you within 60 days after the statement was mailed to me, I may not get back any money lost after that time. I AGREE THAT IF I GIVE MY CARD(s) AND PIN TO SOMEONE ELSE TO USE, I AM AUTHORIZING THEM TO ACT ON MY BEHALF AND I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY USE OF THE CARD(s) BY THEM.

  4. How to Contact GCF Bank. If your CARD is lost or stolen, call 1-856-589-6600 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

    If you notice unauthorized transactions on your statement, if you think a statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a Purchase listed on a statement or receipt, call 1-856-589-6600 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding bank holidays), or immediately write to: GCF Bank, 301 Greentree Road, Sewell, NJ 08080-9217.

  5. Charges. I agree to pay the charges or transaction fees which are charged by you for these services or for services which may later be offered as such fees or charges may be imposed or changed from time to time.

  6. Liability. If the CARD is issued for a joint account, we agree to be jointly and severally liable under the terms of this Agreement and the agreement for such account.

    I agree that if I make deposits to my account(s) with items other than cash (checks, drafts or other items) and you make funds available to me from such deposits prior to their collection, that you may deduct the amounts of such funds from my account(s) which are not collected or, if the funds in my account(s) are insufficient at such time. I will promptly pay to you any amount of such funds which are not collected.

  7. Amendment of this Agreement. I agree that from time to time you may amend or change the terms of this Agreement including amendments or changes to add further CARD services or to amend or change the charges for these services. You may do so by notifying me in writing of such amendments or changes and my use of the CARD after the effective date of any such amendment or change shall constitute my acceptance of and agreement to such amendment or change.

  8. Ownership. I agree that the CARD is your property and I will surrender it to you upon your request. I agree that the CARD is non-transferable.

  9. Disclosures. I hereby acknowledge receipt of the disclosure statement informing me of my rights under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and a copy of this Agreement.


VISA CHECK CARD & ATM CARD DISCLOSURE

The purpose of this Disclosure Statement is to inform you of certain rights which you have under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act.

1. MONEY ACCESS CENTER® Services. You may use your GCF Bank VISA® Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card with your Personal Identification Number (PIN) at any automated teller machine (ATM) to conduct any of the following transactions for each of the accounts you have requested to be accessed by your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card:
   a. Withdraw cash from:
      (1) your transaction account(s) such as Checking; and
      (2) your Statement Savings or Cyber Savings account.
   b. Deposit cash, checks or drafts to:
      (1) your transaction account(s) (Checking); and
      (2) your Statement Savings or Cyber Savings account.
   c. Transfer funds:
      (1) your transaction account(s) (Checking); and
      (2) your Statement Savings or Cyber Savings account.
   d. Obtain the available balance(s) from:
      (1) your transaction account(s) (Checking); and
      (2) your Statement Savings or Cyber Savings account.

Some ATMs may only provide access to the accounts you have designated as your primary checking account. NOT ALL ATMs MAY ACCEPT DEPOSITS. THERE MAY ALSO BE LIMITS ON THE AMOUNT OF FUNDS WHICH YOU MAY DEPOSIT IN CERTAIN ATMs.

2. PLUS, CIRRUS and HONOR® Services. You may use the GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card with your PIN at any PLUS, CIRRUS and HONOR automated teller machine (PLUS, CIRRUS and HONOR ATM) to conduct any of the following transactions that are available at the PLUS, CIRRUS and HONOR ATM:
   a. Withdraw cash from:
      (1) your transaction account(s) such as Checking; and
      (2) your Statement Savings or Cyber Savings account.
   b. Transfer funds:
      (1) your transaction account(s) (Checking); and
      (2) your Statement Savings or Cyber Savings account.
   c. Obtain the available balance(s) from:
      (1) your transaction account(s) (Checking); and
      (2) your Statement Savings or Cyber Savings account.

These are the present services available from the PLUS, CIRRUS and HONOR networks, but other services may be provided in the future as they are developed. The above transactions are only applicable to the account which you list on your GCF Bank VISA Check Card/ATM Card Application and have designated as the primary account on each account type or such other primary accounts which are added later at your written request.

3. Other ATM Network Access. From time to time, we may make arrangements with other ATM networks to grant access to the GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card. We shall inform you when such arrangements are made and describe the services which are made available to you and the charges therefore at the time.

4. Purchase Transactions.

   a. GCF Bank VISA Check Card. You may use your GCF Bank VISA Check Card and PIN at any retail establishment (Merchant) where they are accepted to purchase goods and services and/or to obtain cash where permitted by the Merchant (Purchase). When you make a Purchase using your GCF Bank VISA Check Card and PIN you will be requesting us to withdraw funds from your selected primary checking account in the amount of the Purchase and directing or ordering us to pay these funds to such Merchant. You may also use your GCF Bank VISA Check Card for payment at VISA Merchants worldwide. VISA transactions require your signature as authorization. When making a Purchase in this manner, you present your GCF Bank VISA Check Card like any other VISA Card and a hold will be placed on the funds in your primary checking account. The hold will be in the amount of the transaction request that has been submitted by the VISA Merchant for authorization. For certain transactions conducted out of the United States, it may take up to seven (7) business days to post the transaction to your account. Any Purchase refund made by a Merchant will be posted to your primary checking account.
   b. GCF Bank ATM Card. You may use your GCF Bank ATM Card and PIN at any Merchant where they are accepted to make a Purchase. The amount of all such Purchases (including any cash obtained, if permitted) will be deducted from your primary checking, statement savings or Cyber Savings account. When you make a Purchase using your GCF Bank ATM Card you will be requesting us to withdraw funds from your selected primary checking, statement savings or Cyber Savings account in the amount of the Purchase and directing or ordering us to pay these funds to such Merchant. Any Purchase refund made by a Merchant will be posted to your primary checking, statement savings or Cyber Savings account.

5. Limitations on the Use of your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card.

You may use the GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card to withdraw up to the limit shown at ATMs and/or make Purchases at participating retail establishments provided the funds are available in your account(s).

For a GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card, the day for withdrawal limits and purchase limits starts at 3:00 p.m. each business day and ends at 3:00 p.m. the next business day. Weekends, including three day holidays, are considered "one business day." There are also certain limitations on the frequency of use of the GCF Bank Money VISA Check Card and GCF Bank ATM Card each calendar day. These limitations are imposed and are not revealed for security purposes.

You will be denied the use of the GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card if you exceed the daily withdrawal or Purchase limit, if you do not have adequate funds available in your account, if you do not enter the correct PIN, or if you exceed the frequency of usage limitation. The receipt provided by the STAR ATM, PLUS ATM, CIRRUS ATM, HONOR ATM or Merchant terminal (POS) will notify you of your denial. There is a limit on the number of such denials permitted. Attempts to exceed the limit may result in machine retention of your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card at the ATM. The number of attempts that result in machine retention of your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card is not revealed for security reasons.

6. Illegal Transactions. You are prohibited from using your Card, Card number or PIN for illegal transactions including, but no limited to illegal Internet Gambling. You agree to indemnify GCF Bank for your use of the Card, Card number or PIN for illegal transactions. Such transactions include, but may not be limited to, any online illegal gambling transaction, any electronic commerce transaction conducted over an open network and any illegal betting or wagering. However, in the event that charge or transaction described in this paragraph is approved and processed, you will still be responsible for such charges.

7. How to Contact GCF Bank. If you believe your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card or PIN has been lost or stolen, call (856) 589-6600 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. After regular business hours, to report a LOST or STOLEN GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card or PIN. Call 856-589-6600, choose option 5 (to report a lost or stolen card), then press 1.

If you find your old card, you may notify us and return your old card to us. If you attempt to use your old card, it may be captured and retained by the STAR ATM, PLUS ATM, CIRRUS ATM or HONOR ATM.

If you notice unauthorized transactions on your statement, if you think a statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a Purchase listed on a statement or receipt, call (856) 589- 6600 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding bank holidays), or immediately write to: Customer Service Department, GCF Bank, 301 Greentree Road, Sewell, NJ 08080- 9217.

8. Charges for Transactions. We reserve the right to change our fee schedule from time to time and to charge your account in accordance with the fee schedule that will be provided to you at least thirty (30) days prior to change in assessment. In addition to fees charged by us, ATM owners may charge you a fee for performing a transaction at that ATM.

9. Exchange Rate for Currency Conversion. When you use your VISA branded debit card at a merchant for an international transaction there will be a currency conversion charge. The International Service Assessment (ISA) fee will apply to both single-currency transactions, which are international transactions that don't involve currency conversions and therefore both the issuer and acquirer transaction are settled in U.S. dollars and multi-currency transactions, that involve a currency conversion of the transaction amount between the acquirer terminal and the issuer. The currency conversion rate used to determine the transaction amount in U.S. dollars is either: a rate selected by VISA from a range of rates available in wholesale currency markets for the applicable central processing date, which rate may vary from the rate VISA itself receives; or the government- mandated rate in effect for the applicable central processing date; in each instance, plus or minus any adjustment determined by the issuer.

The conversion rate in effect on the processing date may differ from the rate in effect on the transaction date or posting date.

10. Deposit and Payment Information. Deposits made at ATMs are posted to your account(s) according to the rules and regulations of those account(s) and our funds availability policies which are contained in our disclosure statement required under the Expedited Funds Availability Act, a copy of which has been provided to you or is available upon request. You may not deposit any foreign currency. All items presented at a ATM are removed before 3:00 p.m. each business day.

GCF Bank reserves the right to verify the items so deposited before such funds are made available to you; however, the availability of your deposit depends on the type of account in which you deposit your funds, the type of deposit and whether the ATM is operated by GCF Bank or another financial institution. Consult the rules and regulations of the particular account to which you are depositing your funds and our Funds Availability Disclosure Statement for more information about when your deposit funds will be available for withdrawal.

You may deliver cash, checks and other items at most ATMs for transmission to us for deposit to your account(s). However, some ATMs may not accept such items for deposit and certain other ATMs may limit the amount of funds you deliver for transmission to us for deposit to your account(s).

11. Record of Transaction. You will receive a printed receipt for each STAR ATM, PLUS ATM, CIRRUS ATM, HONOR ATM, POS or VISA Check Card which you make at the time of the transaction. You may not receive a receipt for small value transactions of $15.00 or less. You will receive a monthly statement showing the status of your account, transactions made during the past month, and any charges which may be imposed for such services or transactions.

12. Liability for Unauthorized Transfers. CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY if you believe your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card or PIN has been lost or stolen. Telephone GCF Bank at (856) 589-6600 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. After regular business hours, to report a LOST or STOLEN GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card. Call 856-589-6600, choose option 5 (to report a lost or stolen card), then press 1.

You could lose all your money in the account(s) if you take no action to notify us on the loss of your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card or PIN. If you notify us of the loss, your liability will be as follows:
   a. If you contact us within two business days of the loss or your discovery of the loss, you can lose no more than $50.00 if someone used your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card without your permission.
   b. If someone used your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card and PIN without your permission, you could lose as much as $500.00 if you do NOT contact us within two business days after you learn of the loss and we can prove that we could have prevented the loss if you had contacted us.
   c. Also, if your monthly statement shows transfers or Purchases that you did not make and you do not contact us within 60 days after the statement was mailed to you, you may not get back any money lost after 60 days, if the transfers or Purchases were made using your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card and PIN, and we can prove that your contacting us would have prevented those losses.

Your liability will be zero on Check Card transactions at merchants displaying the VISA logo. Transactions not covered by this limitation will be ATM or PIN-based transactions not processed by VISA.

13. Business Days. GCF Bank's business days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays are not included as business days.

14. In Case of Errors or Questions About Your Transactions. Telephone Customer Service at 856-589-6600 or write us at:

Telephone or write us immediately, at the phone number or address shown above, if you think your statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a transfer listed on the statement or receipt. We must hear from you no later than 60 days after we sent the FIRST statement on which the problem or error appeared.
   a. Tell us your name and account number (if any).
   b. Describe the error or the transfer you are unsure about, and explain as clearly as you can why you believe it is an error or why you need more information.
   c. Tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error.

If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within 10 business days.

We will determine whether an error occurred within 10 business days (20 business days if the transfer involved a new account) after we hear from you and will correct any error promptly. If we need more time, however, we may take up to 45 days (90 days if the transfer involved a new account, a point of sale transaction or a foreign initiated transfer) to investigate your complaint or question. If we decide to do this, we will credit your account within 10 business days (20 business days if the transfer involved a new account) for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of the money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within 10 business days, we may not credit your account. Your account is considered a new account for the first 30 days after the first deposit is made, unless you already have an established account with us before this account is opened.

We will tell you the results within 3 business days after we complete our investigation. If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation.

You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation.

15. Disclosure of Account Information. We will disclose information about your account of the transactions you make to third parties:
   a. where it is necessary to complete transactions;
   b. to verify the existence and condition of your account with us upon the request of a third party, such as a credit bureau or merchant;
   c. in accordance with your written permission;
   d. in order to comply with court orders or government or administrative agency summonses, subpoenas, orders, examinations and escheat reports; and or on receipt of certifications from a federal agency or department that a request for information is in compliance with the Right to Financial Privacy Act of 1978.

16. Our Liability for Failure to Complete an Electronic Fund Transfer Transaction. If we fail to complete a transaction on time or in the correct amount, when properly instructed by you, we will be liable for damages caused by our failure unless:
   a. there are insufficient funds in your account to complete the transaction through no fault of ours;
   b. the funds in your account are unavailable;
   c. the funds in your account are subject to legal process;
   d. the transaction you request would exceed the funds in your account;
   e. the ATM has insufficient cash to complete the transaction;
   f. your card has been reported lost or stolen and you are using the reported card;
   g. we have reason to believe that the transaction requested is unauthorized;
   h. the failure is due to an equipment breakdown which you knew about when you started the transaction at the ATM or POS;
   i. the failure was caused by an act of God, fire or other catastrophe, or by an electrical or computer failure or by another cause beyond our control;
   j. you attempt to complete a transaction at an ATM or POS which is not permissible transaction listed above; or
   k. the transaction would exceed security limitations on the use of your GCF Bank VISA Check Card or GCF Bank ATM Card.

In any case, we shall only be liable for actual proven damages if the failure to make the transaction resulted from a bona fide error despite our procedures to avoid such errors.

17. Amendments. GCF Bank may amend this disclosure or GCF Bank's VISA Check Card/ATM Card Cardholder Agreement at any time. We will give you written notice at least 30 days before the amendment becomes effective if the amendment will result in increased costs or liability to you or stricter limitations on the transfers you may make. If, however, an immediate change in this disclosure or GCF's VISA Check Card/ATM Cardholder Agreement is necessary for security reasons, we may amend this disclosure or GCF's VISA Check Card/ATM Cardholder Agreement without such prior notice.
